Alpha Program

Since many of you have shown interest in ChasePlane Alpha, we are making ChasePlane Alpha available to you. This is also an occasion for you to provide us with valuable feedback.

ChasePlane is currently in Alpha. That means that ChasePlane is not a stable, final product and that tests, changes, addition or removal of features are possible. The list of features, limitations and roadmap can change at any time depending on design challenges or other factors.

Customers in the Alpha Program must expect bugs and crashes that may prevent the application from running or launching properly.

ChasePlane Alpha 1 will not include a User Manual.

  1. Compatible with FSX in windowed mode and P3D v2 & v3 in windowed and fullscreen mode.
  2. Community features in v0.2 (Alpha 2)will be limited.

Minimum Requirements

  • Windows 7 or newer (64 bits)
  • Active Internet Connection to use the software
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator X (with SP2, Acceleration Pack or Steam Edition)
    or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v2.5 or newer
  • .NET Framework 4.5.2 or newer

  • Customers in the Alpha Program must expect bugs and crashes that may prevent the application from running or launching properly.
  • ChasePlane Alpha does not contain a User Manual.
  • Your ChasePlane Alpha 1 license includes updates to Alpha 2 and to v1.x.
  • An active Internet connection is required to install VFXCentral and to use ChasePlane.
  • An OldProp ID is required to activate the product.
    You can create one on the login page.
  • Buying ChasePlane will give you 1 license to be activated on a single computer. You are allowed to transfer this license to a new computer every 3 months.
  • When buying ChasePlane, you agree with the limitations listed below. Digital downloads are not refundable.

Limitations

  • This software is in Alpha.

  • In FSX and FSX:SE, the In-Sim View Selector and Framing Overlay only works in windowed mode.

    Due to the technologies used back in those days, the In-Sim View Selector and Framing Overlay only works in windowed mode when using FSX. P3D v2 & v3 are not affected and will work in fullscreen mode.
